La Chofera speaks on the journey to stepping into the experience of pleasure away from the lessons and warnings given by those raising us. In hopes of inspiring agency in our own pleasures the poem features a conversation with my mother and deciding that on the journey to pleasure the best navigator is the owner of the body.
